I pray for Pat. Alexei, and hope that, if he dies in the near future, he's made peace with the Lord about his own sins, whatever they may be.

i recently read that metropolitan kirill (gundayev), one of the soviet era holdovers, really really really wants to be the next patriarch.... michael woerl
