Re: The question of Grace: Matthewites vs. Kallinikites
It is very simple why the GOC vs Florinites make the issue one about grace, though to be fair it was first RAISED as an issue in 1937 by Chrysostoms of Florina: But let's simplify the argument and lets explode it a bit: It is absolutely NOT justifiable to separate from an hierarch unless he is a pub...

Re: True Orthodoxy: links to its saints and general information
There is also the Holy Hieromnk Ignatius who was a New Calendarist priest seeking for the truth, and to Whom Christ appeared and directed to the GOC and the Convent of the Enteance of the Theotokos in 1956 which had been founded by Bishop Matthew. Re: The "Scandal" of True Orthodox Division
You will note that I did not speak of an unknown "bishop" wandering in, but of a known schismatic being invited and venerated as a bishop. Of course with those who are seeking for the truth we Exercize all humility, kindness and condescension. But we are not to serve the agenda of Old Cale...

Re: In NY, Former HTM Monks Open GOC-K Monastery of St. John Maximovitch
There are many of the former HOCNA who flat out call St. Augustine a heretic and imagine he has no feast on the calendar. I have seen this happen myself and corrected the person saying so. I take Fr. Seraphim's line: He is a saint who was prone to some exaggerated understandings. The end.

Why the GOC is not a Schism, regardless of what New Calendarists think.
WHY is the GOC not a schism? There are many people, mostly New Calendarists and ecumenists, who decry the Church of the Genuine Orthodox Christians as a schismatic movement. They will say: "See, they have condemned everyone! They have initiated Kangaroo courts and non canonically deposed the CA...

Here is a history for you to read of the GOC in GREECE, pretty detailed.
