Re: Discussion and criticism of GOC-K & SiR Union
Thank you for the diligent efforts to track this down, Jean-Serge ! It's important. I did look at the signatures as you mentioned on the other thread. That second signature looks shaky. I hope that Bishop's health is all right... What a disparate collection of signatures, though !! It IS amusing to ...

Re: What did people use to wash dishes before detergents?
Apple cider vinegar rinses are always advisable ! However, I can't see how baking soda would successfully wash hair and it would feel rather slimy in a bathtub. There must be some better ideas. But the goal is a worthy one. You know how shampoo stings when it gets in your eyes [I just washed my hair...

Re: Pope Francis to Retire? What to Do With Three Popes?
Not sure about that question. Maybe someone else will know. However ! Today there is an article out about this Pope's bad health causing worries. He has canceled 2 days of appointments and probably observers are wondering how he will fare with a missing lung from childhood, sciatica and various othe...

Re: What did people use to wash dishes before detergents?
That's funny ! I was JUST looking at some on my painting shelf ! I used TSP even as a child doing painting projects. So I kept it around to clean dirty walls before painting ever since. This is a helpful warning that good gloves should be worn when washing walls with it. As far as dishes, I long sen...

Re: How many people know what the Typica is or how to pray i
Agree. While the Bishop has SOME spiritual responsibility for his flock, it's absurd to blame him when the flock or individual parishioners go astray ! Especially THESE days with all the insidious things tempting people. He can guide, but he can't force them to toe the correct line. It's up to them ...

Re: 50th anniversary of anathema lifting: services worldwide
No, no, Lydia. Only the Pope's ex-cathedra pronouncements are considered by Catholics to be infallible. Not every word he breathes ! This Pope's outrageous actions and bizarre un-Pope-like behavior MUST HAVE angered many Cardinals. Remember that he was not even a frontrunner for the office, and prob...

Re: Archangel Michael Church in Cannes has left ROCOR-A for
Glad to hear Alexander giving helpful background again. I recalled that the Church was originally under RTOC. But I hadn't understood HOW they ended up with Roca - Rocor {A}. Thanks, much appreciated. What a shock that the famous Church voted for the EP ! What a disappointment. I want to look at the...
