Re: Name-Glorifying in Russian Church

> Well, the former Cyprianites are now part of the GOC-K, so they are considered to be True Orthodox. I can see that even at this forum there are some people who do not agree with this. They did not reject Cyprianism (that even bishops of Etna confirmed) and Met Agathangel allows to commune people f...

Re: Name-Glorifying in Russian Church

Dear Maria, I know Father Anthony Gunin. But unfortunately I cannot count the Kyprianites to be True Orthodox, so the opinion of ROCOR(A) is not valuable for me. But they do have people who do not count Name-Glorifying a heresy. I do not think Met Agathangel will struggle with them unless they make ...

Re: Name-Glorifying in Russian Church

Re: Name-Glorifying in Russian Church

It's interesting, Alexander, that earlier you claimed you did not know anything about this issue, but now you say you do know something about it, in particular that none of the Russian True Orthodox bishops believe name-worshiping is a heresy. I'm sure Dcn Ephrem will have some things to say about ...

Re: Name-Glorifying in Russian Church

The first man (Kyprian) is in Moscow Patriarchate and he struggles not only against Name-Glorifi ers , but mostly against TOC. I even think that if there were Name-Fighters (Onomatoclasts) in Russian True Orthodoxy, he would defend Name-Glorifying. :) :) As for the second one, he lives not in Russia...

Re:

Didn't your Bishop Gregory separate from ROAC over that issue? No, the story was different and if you want we can discuss it in another branch. The only official statement of ROAC on Name-Glorifying was that this question is to be considered by All-Russian Church Sobor, because this question was sc...
