It is like suddenly, the whole world is now Catholic.

Every single station has coverage on about the Pope. It seems really, really strange to me. Also, it gets on my nerves when someone on the news says that the Catholic church is 2,000 years old etc etc...it is like we Orthodox are non-existent.

I don't think that those rings are that common...heck, just to see if I was slipping in my old age I asked my husband if he's seen such rings before and he just said, "Maybe?".
